Sunday Morning Qigong at the Corte Madera Recreation Center
Join Denise Aubin, Certified Medical Qigong Therapist, to obtain powerful tools for self healing. Qigong is an ancient healing art form that strengthens your immune system and reduces stress, anxiety, and depression.
- Learn a series of easy, effective exercises to strengthen the body, quiet the mind and balance the emotions while connecting with the heavens, earth and nature.
- The practice of Qigong will increase energy and your sense of well being. You will leave the class feeling happy and invigorated.

You are also cordially invited to attend a positive, life-affirming service from 10AM – 11AM with the Golden Gate Center for Spiritual Living before the Qigong class.
Special note: People with disabilities or low energy are welcomed at this class. We have chairs that are provided for anyone who wants to do the routine with the rest of the class from a seated posture.

Qigong at the Tea House
Join Denise Aubin, Certified Medical Qigong Therapist, to obtain powerful tools for self healing. Qigong is a healing art form that strengthens your immune system and reduces stress, anxiety, and depression.
Designed for women of any age, we will focus on breast and reproductive organ health, balancing female hormones, detoxification, and the cultivation of energy for the promotion of health and well being. These simple, yet profound movements can be easily learned and incorporated into your daily life. The gentle, low impact exercises build strength, restore balance, and increase flexibility.
A wonderful way to start the day, Qigong can help you feel relaxed, happy and invigorated.
Please wear clothing for ease of movement. Bring a mat or “inside” shoes/slippers.
When: Monday mornings 9:00-10:00 am.
Cost: $40.00 for 4 classes/$15.00 drop- in. Try your first class for $10.00

Thursday Morning Qigong in San Rafael
Qigong is traditionally practiced outside so that one can connect with the Qi from the heavens, nature and earth. Come join us for this magical experience of connecting with the elements of water, trees, blue sky and the spirit of the earth beneath your feet.
- Learn a series of easy, effective exercises to strengthen the body, quiet the mind and balance the emotions while connecting with the heavens, earth and nature.
- The practice of Qigong will increase energy and your sense of well being. You will leave the class feeling happy and invigorated.
When: Thursday mornings 10:00-11:00 am (No class dates: January 12th and 19th)
Cost: $10.00 drop-in
Where: Santa Margarita Island in San Rafael
Directions: Take the N. San Pedro Road exit onto N. San Pedro Road toward San Pedro Road East. Go past the Civic Center for 1.3 miles. Turn left on Meadow Drive (7-Eleven will be on the right) to the end of the street. You will see a gate and a foot bridge leading to Santa Margarita Island.

Qigong and Women’s Health Class at College of Marin

Tuition Grants Funds are provided through the COM Foundation and distributed through ESCOM.
Here’s a synopsis of the criteria:
- The student must be 55 years or better.
- No more than four grants per school year may be awarded to an individual, one for fall 1 or 2 and one each for Winter, Spring, and Summer.
- Funds can be used for any College of Marin class, Community Ed, including Emeritus classes, or credit.
- There must be financial limitation on the part of the applicant, and a guideline income level is included; however, extenuating circumstances will also be considered.
- Grant funds cover registration fees
- Applicants do not have to be members of ESCOM, although it is encouraged.
